Florenzia Almiron

Who are you and what do you do?

I am argentinean born visual artist.

What inspires you?

Things I see that resonates in my sensibility.

What themes do you pursue?

non-stable systems in all its forms. I am always experimenting with impossibility.

Why art?

I had 17 years old and I was attending drawing’s classes when I entered the Art 's Academy in Buenos Aires.  Art is a language that has no defined contents thus plurality of meanings. Because of that, art is a very accurate way to understand reality.

Name some artists you would like to be compared to.

I feel mostly attracted by the work and life of modern designers and architects like Jean Prouvé, Joseph and Anni Albers, Charlotte Perriand, among others.
