“Chronolalia” is a four-piece composition that explores the relationship between droning melodies, repetitive rhythms and the integration of various percussive elements.
These tracks compose a simultaneously complicated and meditative look at the effects of electronic music on the subconscious. Schneider is less interested in momentary asides and more focused on how the piece functions as a whole. The tracks borrow piecemeal from one another, creating a unified sequence of emotional release through the stutter and clang of synthetic deconstruction. By carefully altering each segment to align itself with the contours of its predecessor, Schneider has built a monument to the adaptability of this kind of distorted electronic music.
